Is GTA IV steam edition really worth buying, I head a lot of bad and good about it. My pc can run games like ARMA III, Just Cause 2, Evil Within, etc. Grand Theft
Yes, it's still a crappy port. Even worse than before, because it runs better on older version which is 1.0.4.0.. Those who are saying it's not, are just lucky. There is 50% of ppl with high-end PCs complaining about they have 0-30 fps on low details. Mostly i actually see ppl with this problem on i7 and GTX6xx/7xx.
Rockstar's launcher prevents you from modding and downgrading your game (I mean you could downgrade, but you can't use the launcher which makes buying it from there pointless). Steam however lets you mod and downgrade your game. If you care about achievements and other features I would recommend buying it on steam but if you don't care about
There are in-game cheat codes you can use for certain things, but there is absolutely no reason to play this for 100%. Stay away. GTA IV Complete Edition: 101.6 hours. Another stupid trip down memory lane. This is a dated game with unbelievably poor performance and stutters.
