When the camera on your phone is not focussing adequately or focussing at all, you should: clean the lens carefully. restart your phone. clear the cache of the camera app. update the camera app. tap the back of the phone. scan for viruses. download third-party camera app. reset to factory settings.
The most common reason is that the camera is not set to autofocus (AF) mode. To check this, look for a switch on the lens or camera body that says AF or M/A (for manual/autofocus). If the switch is set to MF (manual focus), the camera will not autofocus. Another possible reason is that the AF-S or AF-C focus mode is not selected on the camera. 11. Pre-Focusing with the Shutter Button. Pre-focus by holding the shutter half way down to lock focus and then fire away. This is option available for customization, as we mentioned in tip #2. Remember that when you let go of the shutter completely, and then you press it back down, it refocuses. 12. Launch the camera app and then perform a swipe-up gesture from the bottom of the screen. Then hold your finger when it reaches the middle and release it as soon as you see the app switcher. Finally, perform a swipe up on the camera app to close it. Then wait for a few seconds and relaunch the camera. Check if it fixes the issue of Auto Focus . 57 162 352 347 185 305 45 322
