Yep, I confirmed this yesterday at the dealership. They say the bike is XM Capable, not XM Ready. The additional module is $399.95 plus $180 to install it. They have to remove the front fairing to install it. Bummer, but this was a miss on my part when researching the bike prior to purchase.
